Adesewa Susan Adeoye

Susan heads the firm’s Commercial, Energy, Power and Public Private Partnership practice, she has over a decade of experience and is known for her expertise in Commercial practice, Oil & Gas and Public Private Partnership projects. Susan is known for resolving and providing solutions to complex issues.

Susan has experience from tier 1 law firms in the United Kingdom, including Clifford Chance, SJ Berwin LLP. She works with multinational organizations advising on various areas of business including business restructuring, international arbitration, real estate investment, maritime and international commercial trade. Susan started her career in corporate practice working with organisations such as Costain Group, Multiplex, SPDC, before moving into private practice.

Susan has advised both International and National Oil Companies on the operation of Oil & Gas Assets, she negotiates, reviews and draft various industry agreements including and service contracts. She also advises on local content policy, corporate and transaction structuring in view of the applicability of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act.
Susan has advised organizations on a broad range of corporate governance issues.
Susan is involved in research work involving aspects of International Boundary Disputes and Downstream activities in Nigeria.

Dr.Kubi Udofia

Dr Udofia is a Consultant at the firm, he obtained a Ph.D. from the University of Nottingham, a CIRM from the Institute of Risk Management, London, and an LL.M from the University College London. Dr Udofia  provides legal services to clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial law issues. He has an extensive corporate and commercial law practice and is an acknowledged expert in insolvency and restructuring law.

As a scholar practitioner, Dr Udofia taught Corporate and Insolvency Law on an adjunct basis at the University of Nottingham Law School in the United Kingdom. Dr Udofia regularly speaks and writes on corporate and commercial law. He is a columnist in The Lawyer which is published on Tuesdays in Thisday Newspaper (a leading daily in Nigeria).

Simisola Oso

Simisola is a seasoned finance and corporate lawyer with over 10 years’ experience in the legal and banking industries. She started her career at international investment bank JPMorgan Chase and has since worked at Goldman Sachs and Templars, a tier one banking and finance law firm in Nigeria.

Simisola has worked on several international corporate transactions involving cross border financings, advising borrowers, lenders and investors, in capital market transactions, project finance, private equity and general corporate matters. She was part of the team that advised IHS as issuer on its US$800 million high-yield Eurobond issuance, the largest ever high-yield Eurobond offering by an African-based issuer.
She regularly assists new businesses in setting up and makes introductions to potential stakeholders. Her clients have ranged from banks and other financial institutions to government authorities and sovereign wealth funds, listed companies, SMEs and HNIs. Additionally, she has in depth Fintech knowledge and has advised world-renowned companies on their Fintech ventures in Nigeria and written on the subject.
Simisola is a highly skilled professional, result oriented, diligent and hardworking team player. She possesses the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
